Though it would seem to be a form of turquoise, African Turquoise is its own unique stone, it’s actually a spotted teal jasper that is found in Africa. Don’t allow its appearance to confuse you, though — it offers quite different qualities and energies. The beads are hand-knotted together, and tassels lovingly handmade of cotton as well. All are created with the purest intentions of aiding us on this journey through meditation via repetition of the ancient technology of mantra.
