If the activity of the mind impedes a restful sleep, the practice of japa with the properties of howlite are here to aid your most composed, relaxing states of Being.

Howlite is best known for it’s strong associations with self-awareness, creativity and improving one’s emotional well being and attitudes. It can aid in dispelling anger, resentfulness, selfishness, and allows one to look inside for the answers. It’s an extremely calming stone, and helps to quell an overactive mind, aids in sleeping, dreaming, dream retention and stress relief.

Each mala is comprised of 108 beads (and one extra Guru bead) to be used for Japa (mantra) meditation. All are handmade with love in Mama India, near the sacred Ganges. The beads are hand-knotted together, and tassels lovingly handmade of cotton as well. All are created with the purest intentions of aiding us on this journey through meditation via repetition of the ancient technology of mantra.
